Delta Hiring News

I just talked to one of those guys, he said 3 we NOT hired out of the 8. One Pinnacle guy, a Mesaba guy, and a Colgan guy. The pinnacle and Mesaba guy were invited back in a year to re-interview, the Colgan guy will never interview at Delta again. 80- they were in the 500 range on the seniority list. Catboatsailor, not sure if you were referring to the pinnacle guy not getting hired, but I was floored when I found out he didn't get it. A really awesome guy, Delta lost a good pilot by passing him up.

While I think preparation is key for any airline interview, it's pretty critical for DAL. I've known a few people who interviewed there and didn't get hired, and all of them said they weren't prepared enough. All the testing plus how they run the panel interview is fairly rigorous. I wouldn't let your guard down anywhere, but particularly DAL.

I went to Aerocrewsolutions and it was worth its weight in gold. Gave me a lot to consider on how I answered HR questions. I felt a lot more confident after doing the prep work. The owner is a current DAL pilot. It's one of many steps that I hope will prepare me for the interview process.
