Let me run this by folks. What would be your opinion of a "Delta job subscription service" which a guy could buy into for $21,000 a year if they were a Captain and about $15,000 a year if they were a First Officer. In exchange for buying into that service they would be given a guaranteed interview.
Would we support such a program; the sale of Delta interview slots?

You guys talk like Delta doesn't use that technology ... has anyone forgotten where our new hires may actually end up?
On IOE, due to constructions and map shifts, yeah I actually shot an approach using the RMI with about a 30-35 knot crosswind aloft, nailed it. I was kind of proud of myself

Bluto, love you but that's not accurate. The bottom guy in LA is 11114. The plug in SLC is 11667. My relative standing in LA is at the 65% mark. In SLC, I'd be at 55%. I'd get a nice bump coming to the Lake and am considering it.
As a matter of fact, the young guys getting displaced out of LA end up in SLC.
