Maybe I am losing my mind, but I swear there was a place on the Delta addendum to list family members who work for Delta. I had listed my brother but I don't see that section on the addendum anymore. Did they remove it or am I looking in the wrong place?

I was looking at that last night and yes it's gone...

Well that really sucks! I busted my hump to finish my degree up (at 30) after I had started my career in hopes of getting hired at Delta. I'm not a big fan of flowthroughs (although I get it) and preferential interviews. I think they should interview and hire who they want. However, letting some folks in for the interview without a degree when everyone else has to have it kinda chaps my as@! I'd prefer a level playing field but that's not for me to decide. sorry.......... Rant over

It used to say it in the addendums but looks like it is gone. There is a section in the miscellaneous section where it asks if you have family members in the airline industry though. Might put it in there and hopefully it gets noticed. Good luck!

As I said, I am not currently an airline pilot. If I am missing something here I am sure you will set me straight.

As a pilot on the outside I am not thrilled by this. I have my degree and I have my application in with Delta. I also believe that many of the SSP folks also have a degree. While I understand they are given preferential treatment when it comes to getting the interview, in the end at least the playing field is level because they have to meet the same standards. What I do not agree with is the now the SSP folks get preferential treatment in getting the interview and now they also do not have to meet as high a standard as the rest of us.

I heard they only intend on hiring the ones that flew the the CRJ-900 and wore their epaulettes backwards in a show of esprit de corps while referring to it as "the 9". Degree or not, that kind of hair on fire awesomeness is exactly what we're looking for. Guaranteed.

Keep in mind, SSP is interview ONLY. They're STILL only hiring who they want.
Rant away dude, I agree with your statement.
