Can any Delta guys help me out with this question? I've got a company that rents apartments (full kitchens), furnishes them with nice furniture, linens, all dishes, hooks up utilities (heat, air, internet & cable) and then subleases them out. Since we just got our arses handed to us by the sequester and again by the govt. shutdown (we lease to govt employees in training), I'd like to diversify. Is there a need for this near the Delta training center; our rates are around $48-50 per night??? Would be nice to stay in my places if Delta picks me up too. 5000 TT 1300 SIC MD80 1200PIC Turbine

Default Straight from a Chief Pilot

FYSA this came straight from a Chief Pilot in ATL two days ago. He said they sent a military guy home from an interview because of his attitude. He was arrogant and full of himself. It's a shame to make it that far and lose it because of something that's easy (or difficult depending on who you are) to fix.
Just passing on the info. Hope everyone that makes it that far gets the job.

This is something I'll never understand. Many/most mil pilots come to DAL with IP, EP, combat time, etc. and are interviewing to be a vanilla copilot who has the potential to someday be the captain.

Check the ego at the door. Your "greatness" is already ancient history. Realize what you are applying to do. Also, realize this isn't a squadron (however it can be squadron-like in some smaller categories) the other pilots are co-workers. Overall, you are on your own.

Be a good dude. Helpful, cheerful, nice, polite, etc.

You want to see who DAL hires, watch the google movie the internship.
