What do people recommend suit-wise? I've heard Black with white shirt/red tie, and I've also heard dark blue with white shirt/red tie. While I'm sure it doesn't matter THAT much, I'd like to do what's right...

If there was a second chance, I might live on the wild side. Since there isn't, I have a nice blue suit with red tie that, hopefully, will do the trick.

You have to remember that Delta is an old school airline. You will interview with one retired Captain (maybe Timbo one day), one active Captain (maybe Timbo in 2 weeks) and a HR representative. I would strongly recommend a conservative looking suit, shirt, tie and shoes.

You want to fit the mold of a professional pilot. I want the recruiters to remember you by what you say in the interview and not how you are dressed.

FYI, the first interview date available is October 14th. Good luck to all.

Just look sharp w/ a power tie. NO brown or cord suit...be a pro. There is NO "it" power color of the year. Go w/ red/blue or blue/yellow. Just look good and not like a kook.

I was in the last class in 2010. Everyone on my interview day wore grey/black suit, white shirt and red tie. When PR greeted us he laughed and asked if it said to wear that on the internet somewhere.

Can anyone who has been through the process comment on what happens after the interview? I am former military and it has proven to be very difficult to track down some of my former CO's personal phone numbers as they are long retired. If I am fortunate to get the conditional job offer, will Delta want to call all of my old supervisors from each duty station? Thank you.
