The majority of calls are to military guys. Keep in mind though, the majority of each class will be civie because of the flows, so off the street, is likely to be all military until the latter part of next year.

Is that on your PRIA? Reportedly not giving two weeks notice is a PRIA reportable event. Doing something like this for Delta is understandable but for Virgin, I might think twice.

Pretty much my first ever post here, but have been following on/off for a couple years.

Got the email today for interview invite. Excited to say the least.
Currently active duty military, start terminal leave ~25 November, put down I was available to start 15 December on my airlineapps profile.

Having been military nearly my entire flying career, I'm open to any bits of advice prior to going into the interview. I plan on doing Emerald Coast for some prep.

Is that for certain?

PRIA requires that a hiring air carrier under 14 CFR parts 121 and 135, or a hiring air operator under 14 CFR part 125, request, receive, and evaluate certain information concerning a pilot/applicant’s training, experience, qualification, and safety background, before allowing that individual to begin service as a pilot with their company.
PRIA applies ONLY to the above.

What you're talking about would be along the lines of what's in the pilot's "personal file" or "HR file".

Using the example and if they were allowed to press for the answer as to why he wouldn't be eligible for rehire, there's NOTHING in the training record that would indicate as such.

So when you guys are updating your apps what do you put for available date? Today's date or 2 weeks from today?

My advice would be to not talk about your own exploits, but emphasize how you can work in a team environment.
