Seniority integration? Really? What idiot would ever say or think that? Based on history when has a major buying out a regional ever gone in a positive direction for the regional pilots? If your flying at a regional it should not take long to know a few rules. #1 Don't ever expect equal and fair treatment from the majors. Your just a regional pilot. #2 The majors gave up their scope but as a regional pilot you should still accept some of the blame for the downfall of the industry and loss of jobs at the majors. #3 No matter how bad, unsafe or unacceptable of a pilot you may be, its still ok to represent a major airline at the regionals. The flying public can tell the difference.
I think its all supposed to change after you pass a test and interview at a major. Then your allowed to ridicule and make fun of the nasty regional pilots that are obviously trying to ruin the careers of the major pilots and trying to cheat sneak there way in.

learn the rule: your / you're
- your is a possessive adjective, indicating ownership of something
- That is your sock.
- Where is your potato?
- you're is a contraction (combination) of you and are
- Do you know what you're doing?
- You're stupid.
- The two are not interchangeable.
- Getting it wrong makes you look stupid. And ugly.
I was piggy backing on his grammar National Socialism
"How do you comfort a grammar Nazi?
They're there their, it'll be OK......."

A memo came out yesterday at Endeavor stating they are planning on 68 flow captains to go to Delta Air Lines and some SSP pilots to leave in 2014. These guys are getting these projected staffing needs directly from Delta Air Lines. If this happens off the street hiring will happen.
I also don't think Delta Air Lines would train pilots to conduct interviews and renovate a space just to hire 20 or so pilots in the next year. Just trying to stay positive.

True but they will need to officially announce more than 300 and/or have classes bigger than 20 people in them per month. Otherwise it will pretty much be only CP pilots and some XJ. Yes I am fully aware it will most likely be more but it hasn't been officially announced...

What test? I would be happy to take the same test that the Western Airlines and Northwest Airline pilots took for their continued employment at DAL. Oh yeah that was a merger. Isn't it funny when a major wants to buy another major but can't so they have a merger and the seniority list are merged to one. I just wonder what ALPA's response would be if Western and NWA pilots would be required to take a test and interviewed to have continued employment at DAL. We already know what happens when a major buys a regional.

OK. At a meeting Thursday. Flight Operations management stated that 143 furloughed pilots have definitely accepted recall. Only 8 have declined. Status of the other 50 or so is unknown. Should fill Delta's needs for at least 6 months starting in November.
A little friendly advise. At an interview, an airline isn't primarily concerned with your pilot resume. If you were not considered qualified, you would never have been invited for an interview at all. Little more than verification that your not lying will be done. They want to know what kind of person you are and how well you can work with others. They want to know if you're an honest person.
Just sayin'.
