Hawg, I second what the other poster said about the thread. Another good source or start is:

Emerald Coast Interview Consulting

They do interview prep and have study material for specific airlines, including Delta. It's well worth it.

Other good sources would be Aerodynamics for Naval Aviators, Mental Math for Pilots and the Gleim or ASA ATP study book/prep/CD.

FWIW, I bought the naval aviators book and the mental math book. Never opened the mental math one and made it a paragraph into the naval aviators one. The gouge you can find online for formulas and concepts they want you to know is much more concise and less likely to give you a brain tumor.

The books haven't been touched since and are currently boring the spiders to death in the basement.

Thanks you for the advice... I have both books sitting on my desk and I am avoiding them at all costs... I think the stuff from ECC might be enough. Either way, I am getting started just in case.

I wouldn't anticipate that being an issue with DL hiring unless it throws the rest of the economy into a lag. It would have to be a serious lag, too... with the exchange of 717s for RJ lift, the international focus, plus retirements, it would take something crazy to slow hiring down.
OK, good info. There is still no loss. Delta is making a profit.

The guys at ECC are great...however, I didn't do any pro-prep. I just reviewed all the online gouges I could find (was going in blind... first set of interviews since 2001), assembled various stories and such that could be applied to a variety of TMAAT and tell me about yourself questions, and rehearsed speaking and applying to every TMAAT question I could find.

Wearing a nice lacey widget thong works too. I felt sexy, and they didn't know it was there. But it was.

Did forgot to bid mention wearing a red tie? Wear a red tie.

Ummm, the test/gouge from 2007/08 didn't remotely resemble the one in 2010 and I'm assuming the same one going forward. IOW, the 07/08 gouge isn't gonna help. Suggest hitting the books.

Good luck just studying the gouge. Seriously.

Nope, but since I update my stuff on a daily basis I wouldn't expect one

Sounds like it will be more than 300, which is a good thing for everyone concerned.
