So true!

Exactly that happened to a close friend of mine. He was notified that a box wasn't checked on his app. He went back through it and checked the box (I don't remember which one it was). One year later he was interviewed and hired.

Highly recommend aero crew solutions app review service. It’s 100 bucks, but worth it IMO.

He did use a consulting firm, I don't remember which one. They missed it too. Most unfortunate as it cost him 1 year of seniority.

Overlaps in work history? So working 2 jobs at once automatically DQ's your app? I got a fix it email in Feb for "A review of your application reveals an unexplained gap or incomplete information in your employment history", but I had no gaps but I did hold a side job my first 2.5 years at a part 121 carrier for additional income.

I had overlapping employment. I was active duty but was also co-owner of a flight school/aircraft rental business.

I listed my AD job in the "Employment - Present" section and listed the Flight School as the first entry in the "Employment - History" section

I start year 3 with Delta this month.

Riddle me this one. I received two consecutive fix it emails two months ago. The two problems they said were a “date last flown” and “medical” needed updating.

I went into the application and as suspected they were current and up to date and nothing needed to be changed. Did they pull a really old application?

Either way I double checked it was correct. I sent a response to Delta Pilot Recruitment saying they were already up to date and they responded they would let the hiring manager know.

And now 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗

I won’t pretend to know how/where fix it emails function in the process, just that the human element of scoring apps makes admin errors, even though they seem inconsequential, a potentially big deal. I echo the advice of others here to use a reputable app review service and a lot of personal attention to go over the app with a fine tooth comb before publishing. My own experience was an email invite to interview within about 2-3 weeks of publishing, with an internal email from a friend to have it pulled for scoring. I’ve done countless reviews for friends (as well as crashpad housemates from different regionals) as a precursor to them using a paid service, and having a pro review is a prerequisite for me to send an internal email for scoring (I want them to succeed on the first try). My own experience is that I’ve found a multitude of errors had become invisible to the applicant, and that very few apps are anywhere near as ready as the applicant thinks. There are things like handling side jobs, specific job titles, etc. that I highlight as things to ask the pro because I just don’t know. The point I’m trying make, again, is that the human element to app scoring requires attention to details that have little to do with flying, but are important for getting that interview invite.

I should have led that my app had already been reviewed by Checked and Set. Like I said when I looked at what they said was out of date, it wasn’t. 😕

Slightly frustrating but

Did you use the current FX conversion? Or did you just make up lower numbers? I didn’t look it up or do any math...but either way, that was funny!!!
