Well tier 1 does refer to Delta.

My point was...Tier 1 is a dynamic characterization. What is tier 2 today is tier 1 tomorrow. This is why nobody knows what tier 1 is, even hiring. It’s constantly changing. It’s a stupid label.

This is news to me. Are you sure? I was led to believe tier 1 was above a threshold score. Just because they run to tier 1 pool dry, they needn't reclassify tier 2 applications. New tier 1 applicants will continually apply and theoretically get expeditious interviews.

I concur with your assessment. There's no reason to reclassify tiers, only lower the level at which they call.

I believe each class is made
Up from a few from tier 1, few tier 2
Etc it’s not all the same type of person or we’d Alex know what tier 1 was

So why do you think they would reclassify tiers? All that would do would mean that the previous tier 1 applicants would not be selected as fast.

To Squallrider, there is no quota in classes. The tier system is just the priority list for interview invites.

Looking for some intel

- Expected 1st year earnings (I know its a ballpark number and will vary on base, plane and op)
- Is one eligible for profit sharing in his/her 1st year? That is a huge boost to the first year earnings

Thanks!

Earnings can be all over the place. 80k to 150k. You get profit sharing from Day 1. Pilots have made 250 in year two but you have to be lucky and work your butt off!

Without answering the first question, you are eligible for profit sharing from day 1.
