Well, there you have it. If SWA had 12,000 pilots they'd produce 33 B in revenue. Wholly owned DCI pilots lower that revenue per pilot equation?

Haha... You know I wouldn't disappoint you. There is also a follow up video called "Can't hug every cat" thanks to the same guys who made "Bed Intruder".

I'm not sure if she is a Delta flight attendant or Southwest

In regard to the new short call rules, I just learned you have to sit short call 3 times to get into bucket 2. I thought once you had 2 you were in bucket 2.
I'm at a RAW score of 81, sitting 3rd short call, while others haven't done anything all month. I'm happy to have seniority in the reserve system but really hope this next contract fixes our work rules.

You'd better leave that sort of statistical chicanery to zen master alfaromeo.
Did you really intend for people to see just how much our pay has increased compared to LUVs and then realize we STILL haven't caught up?
I hope DALPA doesn't choose that route to get this TA past the members.

I'm not fan of Moak, and he is responsible for much of the prevailing malaise that continues to surround ALPA, but let's at least keep the facts straight. There was never a vote to staple CPZ pilots. The question was whether they would continue to be represented by DALPA, or would be kicked out into their own MEC. The latter option was chosen on a vote along straight pre-merger lines. I do agree that the signal sent was that Delta pilots were no longer interested in any claim to 76-seat flying.

So... the conclusion that this was driven by the Chairman, Lee Moak, possibly as part of an exchange with Delta management to "unlock the value of the Compass asset" isn't without anecdotal support.
If we make it through the week without a TA, I will be floored. (quote from one of ACLs posts)
They can hold it off until monday to floor you.
Simple observations, neither good or bad:
There is no spool up of the pilots going on. This has got to be the calmest the pilot group has ever been during negotiations. Think about it.
No SPC...not that we have had time to get one spooled up, but we are at about the point where they'd start working on their databases.
No news, and I mean absolute information blackout from the union and the company...No leaks, usually means good things because bad things usually get leaked. Maybe it is just loyalty within the inner circle.
I have a question about contract valuation:
Did DALPA use national's EF&A for valuation of this contract? That would be good.
Or did DALPA use its internal numbercrunchers and Strat Planning / Economic committee people...That would be bad.

Enough contract. Some Michael Jackson.
