Default Adding a buddy

Trying to figure out how to add a 'buddy' for a buddy pass on delta net. I see under 'Manage My Account' where it says 'Authorize Buddies', but it seems like their name has to already be in the system. I don't seem to be able to figure out how to add them so they show up. Can someone share their expertise on how to get a buddy in the system? thanks.

They better not. Or if they do, then us freighter guys should get a system wide displacement. Which would be fine by me.

It depends on the FMA function during the takeoff. On the 757 (and probably whale) it's "80 knots, throttle hold."
I don't speak for the 400 but the freighter its 80 knots, thrust normal.

The 767 does auto climb thrust? Cool.

Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, most of what you wondering about can be entered on the TO and Climb pages, then VNav does it's thing (the more you feed the box predeparture the better). But, how all that is effected with an auto climb thrust, I'd have to see.

We do non-Vnav departures too........in places that have low altitude capture and guys have screwed it up. Midway comes to mind, the 10-7 page has the procedure to use for all thoses who just can't seem to push the right buttons fast enough, or just disconnect the auto throttles before you scream over downtown Chicago at "just over" 250K

You still authorize a buddy like the old system, you just have to use Internet Explorer. I couldn't authorize a buddy with either Firefox or Safari but IE worked fine.

ACL/Professor...........VNav on the preflight the best you got??? I just watched the phase 3 LMS.........argggggggggggggg I'm not smart enough to keep up with all this. Plus, throw in the manual tranisitions? I've got to watch how to look up stuff in the FOM again, is it on a white black bordered Delta Page or a Red page? Geeze, why don't they just send us the finished manuals? This is like pulling off a bandaid REAL SLOW (yes I know, SOC).

Started to watch the new ACARS section, but it's 37slides.........I couldn't take any more.

Ferd

PS..............I do like the new takeoff with an engine failure procedure.

Is anyone else frightened to see the 2nd Qtr results? I think it's going to be ugly.
