Wow - this forum has really taken off. I was in Vegas and they have odds on the "Delta Airlines 15 July rumor" at all the sports books. FWIW these are the current odds:

USAIR related 8:5
Ual related 2:1
Aircraft order related 3:1
DAL MEC takes a firm stand on scope 25:1

Scoop - Who has no info, just a poor sense of humor.

Significant cuts to wholly owned 50 seater's (especially out of NY) with mainline flying more DC9-30's than originally planned.

Hornet, thanks; don't have much to go on, and every anecdote helps.

That one sounds good too. All of these Compass/Shuttle E175/190, or buying of another airline's asset guesses sound waaaaaaaay to complicated.

I think it will be something simple & something narrowbody that we already have.

No, my friend, that's what they'll be expecting us to do.

If we want to Take It Back, this will be the guy to do it.

To OPUS and all the other "in the know people",

I find it funny that you say things like "I know something but cannot tell people because it will effect stocks", as if you will go to jail because it is illegal. Obviously someone does not care about jail because you assume people like ACL will know the info. I get it, you re COOOOL, and know something we could only wish to know about. Please, grow a pair and tell or do what the law says and keep the mouth shut. I wonder if going out and and profiting off of stock now with the little info you did give would be illegal. I forgot that the SEC cannot find out who all these people are on airlinepilotcentral. Well I know something that I am not going to tell anyone but if someone know they sure would be happy. Can someone who knows what I know tell everyone else.

I am sure that one of you is the same one who, in 2000, asked if the airlines could waive the age 23 thing, for an ATP, so he could upgrade in 6 months.
Have another trashcan of water.?!!?

Well I know where Narnia is, but if I tell anyone how to get there the White Witch will turn me into a bag of Tropical Skittles.
