Is it possible to put what time you want your Short Call to begin in the computer? If so, where does it go?

Yes but you are going to get SC then. You can't request AM or PM without signing yourself up. This should be fixed.

Go to PCS and under slip request at the bottom screen hit (enter date ranges to be 1st in sequence for SC). Then put in AM or PM for the date you want.

But, thanks for the warning. I'm hoping that I've done enough of these so I'll keep my head down

But, yes, they should change that so at least you can put a preference in based on what you may or may not have going on a certain day.

Next month they start a bucket system for SC
0-2 is bucket 1, then 3-5 bucket 2, the 6... is bucket 3.

If that's going on, I'd have those pilots call ALPA and get assignment pay on top of the rotation pay. 48 hours of pay for a 24 hour rotation should fix that fishing trip.

Based on the new short call bucket system I have a question. What bucket system takes priority, RAW or short call bucket? Here's the scenario:

Everyone on call is in bucket 1 based on RAW and bucket 2 based on Short Call. You are in bucket 2 based on RAW but bucket 1 based on Short Call. So is it likely you will get short call even though you are in bucket 2 based on RAW?
