Does anyone here save the category lists from the company? I am trying a little experiment to see seniority progression over the last few years and am missing a few months of the category lists. Please PM if you can help.

One other thing: these are further back than you can get by just changing the dates on the company website.

So they can easily be interchanged with the Alaska fleet when we merge with our "West Coast" operation.

Let me tell you, for the guys that like an occasional libation, those guys and girls in Limerick know how to get thier booze and rock star on! That place is for professionals! If you have ever wondered if your couple a day here and there might be an issue, go there, that place will make you feel good about your level of imbibement!

On the walk out to get some dinner around 6pm, witnessed a 50ish yr old patron leaning against a building on a random corner downtown, while urinating and vomiting at the same time.....wow, they take thier drinking seriously in Ireland!

Move along.
25 Saudi MD-90 all went to AerSale...
FWIW, last year AerSale also bought 19 JAL 744s...

AerSale is dedicated to excellence in flight equipment leasing and spares support. We specialize in providing lease aircraft and engines to airlines worldwide
Do you think it makes sense to purchase 20% of the world fleet of a niche type for spares alone? No word yet on if the AerSale deal includes the Saudi sim...

Here's a quick thought, If the MD88 doesn't get the cockpit upgrade soon, here is what the endgame 3-5 years down the line would look like...

117 MD88
16 MD90
34 DC-9
167 Total

65 MD90 (board approved max)
80 717
25 Saudi MD90 (if added to the fleet)
170 Total

The A319 is a negotiating position just as GK saying he will park painted and WN configured 733 and keep the "unwanted" 717 by spending money on paint and new interiors...

Let's hope we don't get the A319, we already know it won't make money on the shuttle and must be replaced by 76-seat RJs...

Cheers
George

So why bother with ETOPS?
BEcause it will give us the flexibility to use them on ETOPS routes later if the need/desire/oppportunity arises. and.... believe it or not, management is forward thinking because they know it is less expensive to have them ETOPS certified and capable right out of the factory rather than retrofit them later. Smart.

Besides, this form of communication is a pretty well established and mutually beneficial way for pilots and management to remain engaged without having to hold things back until it is safe to formally commit a proposal to paper.
Sorry for my thin skin. Coming from you I should have known it was a joke.. from others here.. meh.. it probably wouldn't have been.

That is the truth. I read rumors from other LCPs that I have never gotten any wind of.. We don't get the big picture any more than any of the rest of the line guys... some of the stuff comes straight from the horse's mouth however, as witnessed at the LCP meeting earlier this week. I am personally going to refrain from writing about it, because as The Manager points out, all the boy scouts are being fed kool aid intraveinously so those anecdotes are meaningless and I wouldn't want to contribute to an out of control rumor mill. I can tell you this much however.. if you are paying attention, and connecting dots.. some of the posts here will really give you a chuckle...

Maybe a little of both... depending on the subject. But remember, I am kool aid infused.

I agree. You have to look at what RA said, how is said it and what he left out. Then ask yourself, Why do they want an expedited process with the contract if they do not want any part of the AMR action? B6 would be the only other carrier that they could buy in whole and not worry about having to negotiate with their pilots. ALK, HAA, and NKS all are alpa and would require a joint agreement on some level.
