Wow, that's fantastic Bar. I didn't know about it. Sounds like you had a role in that. If so, biggest tip of the hat I can give to you! I didn't know either of the FTE's, but I've since heard nothing but the very best. They were both incredible engineers and people. I wished I had known them.

Uh,.....no! It makes it sound like the C20 Chairman communicated in his Chairman's Letter, something he believed to be true at the time, which ultimately came down to not being true.

Ever made a mistake Carl? How about seeing the truth of the matter, and the fact that the LEC C20 Chairman was possibly mistaken by his statement.

"No spin involved in anyone's world, other than yours Carl."

You're repeating me Carl. Stop repeating what I said. What next, you're going to start telling TSquare how accurate his statements are too?

Again, I neither inferred or said any such thing. My statement was, and is now, that the C20 Chairman's Letter stated the opener wouldn't be shared. (It is beyond my seniority level whether it was properly vetted or not?) Fast forward to contract opener exchange, the opener is then shared with the pilot group. Doesn't take a rocket science to figure out that either the communication was wrong, misinformed, or they changed their minds. No conspiracy involved in the making of this post Carl.

Because you, being the Grand Poobah of your Donut Hole Club, didn't received the "opener" you were wanting/hoping/expecting, you claim to have not received any opener?

Really? If you ask for an apple, and someone gives you a green one, when really what you wanted was a Ruby Red, you're going to tell people you didn't receive an apple? If your logic is behind this Dee - Pea - Ay drive, we're all in for some drastic contract improvements.

You're not the "victim" Carl. Quit with the "poor me", we've all been "victims" of our mean and scary MEC for too long. You have a "no" vote, just like I do, and everyone else on the seniority list. Exercise it if you don't like the TA, PLAIN & SIMPLE!

Nope, not happy about being called a liar.

The difference between us Carl is I'm a big enough person to stand behind what I write. Even if I don't agree with your opinion/position, it doesn't equate to disrespecting you as a person, and seeing the inherent right for each one of us on this board, and citizens of the United States, to have differing opinions.

I am truly willing to have a beer with my worst of enemies, because as I said before, and after being in the military for more than 20 years, each person has the ability to speak freely in this country. (Even more so if they agree with me.)

GJ

P.S. The offer to buy you a beer will always stand Carl. Even though I think you're opinion is wrong, I still respect it as your opinion.

This is the response I was waiting for. The Bill Clinton response of: "it depends on what the meaning of the word is...is." It is exactly what I've been talking about regarding the MEC bureaucrats and their volunteers like you.

In your mind the MEC was totally upfront and transparent when they released "an" opener. Didn't have to be "the" opener, just "an" opener. This is exactly why the MEC is so mistrusted, and why so many of us are so concerned about our scope being sold again by this MEC. If you can't even trust the meaning of the printed word, there can be no trust.

The floor is all yours now Mr. Jerk. I'm stepping away from this particular tennis match for the sake of the thread.

Also, why is nobody talking about the pinnacle 200 extension? Don't they fly ~140 crj-200s for Delta? And did they not just extend that to 2022 today??? Forgive my ignorance, I just find it interesting that hardly a peep is heard when your jobs get outsourced even longer.
I agree - my best challenging program is one call WBUR - On Point with Tom Ashbrook. I definitely am conservative (financially and politically) and while the show leans left they definitely have interesting topics and pretty good guests (which gives you a somewhat balanced view of their topics). It's a 45 minute podcast (no ads to fast forward through) and worth a listen (this was not meant to be a political statement)
