Has the proposed JFK-BOM flight been axed? If so what is the plan for all the 777LR's, ATL-MCO!

It is not a proposed flight. They are moving the ATL-BOM service back to JFK, again......

I am ready when you are.
I am working on thoughts for a position paper, and campaign points if I decide to run. I personally would love to see someone in the 2000-2001 range run. If they do not I am seriously considering getting hammered in the fall LEC 44 election.

Yes, pilots will say what do I have to give up.. they do and everyone needs to look at the complete package that is being offered.

This board offers the same examples of what do I have to give up, "Call in Honest" and the Jump Seat Program...it worked in a comparable sized group up North, so it should work for the new company, but "what do I have to give up comes up again."
Agreed, negotiations are give and take, there is no hiding that. Problem is we have been giving for quite some time, with some marginal to nil taking.
If this company is half as profitable as management has stated, we should expect significant gains in every section of the PWA come 2012.

The IFALPA members have more to fear than we do. We are the cheap labor that their flying will be outsourced to. Keep that in mind. A AF CA makes about 180-200K euros a year. That is a lot better than where we are. Add to that their bennies, and they have a long way to fall to get close to our level.

kneejerk response but as fine a post as i ve ever read at apc

ie collaborative not combative organizations

a max/min problem of how to maximize employee income capabilities while minimizing the odds of bankrupting the company

and quite possibily an unsolvable puzzle but one does stagger forward hopefully ...

If you check Deltanet it shows the flight as negative availibility on Nov 4-5-6-7. I also checked avail for Dec and can't get any city pair avail past Nov 30. Is there a huge schedule change coming on Dec 1st?

Not sure if that sked is uploaded yet. It may not be running on a given day, but I cannot see us just cutting it completely.

I looked too, and you can only connect though CDG and AMS. I guess we might be cutting that till next spring.....
