That must be it, people junior to me were displaced, but none of them could hold NYC765. Thanks.

yep. I barely held on to my position. One more AE like this and I'll be heading to school or changing bases.

Well, I moved down 3 more spots in category... every one of them a VD once again. This is the 4th AE in a row where I've been pushed downward by guys taking voluntary displacements above me... every single one of the original MD slots they replaced were junior to me. Not sure what that means, but it's somehow disgruntling.

Every single AE for years now I have slid backwards in category. From where I sit, my QOL is just steadily eroding... and no other category, no matter how far down the food chain I go, is better than current due to commuting. Depressing.

I hear guys like rvr123 above moving 30, and look at the junior guys on each category moving back and forth each AE, wow that makes me cringe, and feel glad at least I stayed in base.

The only place you can change your standing qualifiers is from the PCS main menu. Even though it LOOKS like you can change each individual request, YOU CAN'T!!!! End Rant!

Denny
Are you sure about that? You can adjust each individual slip. Remember, if you change anything about your slip for same day trip then you go to the bottom of the pile.

At least they increased staffing on the 7ER and 73N in Atlanta, which absorbed an awful lot of pin action.

Haven't crunched the actual numbers, but at first blush ... dare I say we need to hire some MD88 FO's? Or, is this kind of bid going to get to be a very common occurrence as they staff airplanes with eyedropper precision?

Some of my favorite Captains are going back to the right seat
