Minus the Japanese O&D passengers. It would be a much smaller network because it would have significantly less traffic in total, and way less business traffic.

No, our FOM states that "Business casual attire or uniform" for flight deck jumpseaters, so technically the FOM was being violated. Now one might argue that if they were in the back, that's not the flight deck and they could wear whatever. But I think it's pretty clear that trying to jumpseat in jeans is frowned upon.

However, I almost got trapped in a situation where I was thinking of jumpseating in jeans. I left for the airport with my wife and daughter to non-rev back home. 2 hours before the flight, there were 18 out of 70 seats open. Pretty good huh? Nope - after the revenue was boarded, 1 seat open. Overflow from another flight. Had there been another seat, I would of nicely asked the Captain if I could jumpseat, even as I was in jeans. It would be that or make a risky connection with a 2 year old. I know the rules but sometimes things happen. We ended up having to take another flight, not enough seats.

ps. I had dockers in my bag, but I checked it. Agent said, "oh yeah, you'll get on no problem..."

Default Crossover for MAC

I have been running a trial version of Crossover 10.2.0 and when I clicked to buy it wants to sell me Crossover XI which I read somewhere here that it doesn't work properly with Easybid. How do I purchase version 10???
Help!!!!

Not sure about that one. You may need to contact Codeweavers. I would suggest avoiding Crossover XI as it really screwed up my Easybid and Easyswap. Since I had already purchased version 10.2.0, I was able to go to the archived downloads to reinstall it (after uninstalling Crossover XI). That fixed my problem. But since you haven't purchased yet, you have a different problem. Good luck.

Are whitewashed jeans considered BC?

The jeans thing is silly as my $200 7s look better than $40 Dockers.

We'll all have to wait and see what is released. If we see a summary of details that we are demanding as our opening position, then that will be good and our Council 20 chairman will have been wrong for saying the opener will not be made available to line pilots. If however this "concept" opener is released with no details other than to say we're seeking improvements in this or that section, then he will have been right because that isn't the opener. You don't negotiate from concepts.

Thanks for the info. For the record I don't work for Delta, I work for "Discount Delta" but our FOM has says the same thing.

I felt it was a little in poor taste to jumpseat off-line in blue jeans but thought maybe it was allowed at Delta and these guys figured since we have Delta Paint on our (well, technically your) jets it was all the same.
