Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I just noticed an ad banner for Emirates interview prep. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that certain moderators were interjecting Emirates into the conversation last week and now there are ad banners. Classy!

We have zero control over ads. It's all controlled by higher powers.
I didn't say he controlled the ad. Maybe just knew it was coming and set the ball on the tee in conversation. Help the advertisers out kinda thing. I may be off base and it could all be a big coincidence. Just comes off as very apropos.

It's a Conspiracy I tell Ya! They're ALL in on it!!
T;
I could retort with something like: blah, blah, blah, but that wouldn't be polite.
And with your example, as unrealistic as it is, of course the big metal wouldn't be the most senior.
However if you change your example to $10/passenger/hour in the air they would be the most senior all over again.
Maybe I'm too much of a capitalist, or maybe I'm not a hard core enough trade unionist, but when you remove productivity from the equation, you remove the requirement to be productive. Therefore, IMO, your longevity payscale eventually leads to everyone on reserve (or on constant reroute) and therefore on call the whole month. Personally, I don't want to be deadheading around the world 20 days per month just because "they can."
That might be fine for you, I don't know.

I think we could make that $10/passenger thing work too. And it was just per passenger that was actually ON the airplane.. not per hour...
I have surrendered on LGBP.. for now.. but it will be back someday.. For now we need at a maximum 2 pay scales...
Actually its probably more to do with browser cookies and your internet activity. The ads know where you've been and try to sell you products based on that.

Speaking of Emirates, with the start of the SEA flights, I am wondering what manglement actually thinks about this? Any opinions here? Do they view it as an actual threat in relation to the AS codeshare or are they not thinking along those lines?
Oh I get a lot of ALL ATP stuff sometimes too.
