And then there is this guy - he was pretty smart:

Default Reserve sick call

Any sick call commandos out there?

What are the rules governing calling in sick while on reserve? Do we still get 2.5 hours for each day out? What about if assigned a trip and then you call in sick for it, does the sick call pay out for the trip? Any blowback from the company if you call in sick with in 12 hours for a trip? Not sure how all this works with calling in sick while on reserve(actually never done it)...searched this forum, but not much came up.
Thanks.

When on a trip, you use your sick time towards the value of the trip. When on reserve, you'll get sick pay prorated towards your guarantee for the month. No blowback at all. I've never heard a peep from the company about my sick calls. Right now, the company is requiring the chief pilots to make random phone calls to check up on some sick calls, but they're pretty easy going from what I understand. Hope this helps a little.

"60% of the time it works every time" - LMAO

This should be the slogan for our standardization AND the MEC

iCrew was working fine for me from home about 30 minutes ago...but sometimes it comes and goes, so give it awhile and try again.

EDIT: Out of curiosity I just went on iCrew again (10:53am east) and it worked fine.
