So, what's everyone going to do about it?
I see a lot of ruffled feathers, and lots of jawboning.
What I don't see are any special LEC meetings with recalls on the agenda. All I see is business as usual.
Yawn. Just what they want. If you are arguing amongst yourselves here, you aren't picking up the phone to your rep or organizing a group to really do anything about it.
You guys remind me of the cats you all seem to hate so much. Try to look all bad-ass by puffing up and yowling, but easily distracted by a shiny bauble and then begging for a pet.
Weak sauce.

Check,
As to the part in red - maybe, but I think it would be more accurate to say DALPA caved vice being a co-conspirator. But sadly, the more important point is that the majority of Pilots voted yes to allow this to happen. Granted the 76 seater portion was in BK with a gun to our head.

Gloppy
I fully expect management to ask for at least 255 more rj's to a 88 seat limit. (C-Seiries in a dual class config fwiw. That's what AMR is asking for and brcause of the C-Series jet). If they opt not to it is because they know what that openi g position will do to the majority of pilots. With AMR asking it makes it increasingly likely that UAL and DAL will put for the same proposal. We all have to stand strong on that issue.

ACL,
First off - they can ask for that but it would be extremely improvident of our Pilot group to even consider giving one inch on Scope.
Second - Does anyone know how the new FTDT rules will affect costs at the regionals? It would seem to me that the airlines limited by the FARs would see much greater cost increases than those mainly limited by contracts. This could lessen the financial incentive of outsourcing.

lord knows none of us would fly the routes between the US and mexico.....
this stuff has to stop or start benefiting the pilot group or/and the union had better fix this in our scope language. Good pilot pup messages arent gonna cut it, they're cutting our flying and investing that capital for other airlines to grow besides us.

Funny stuff. A recap of one guy's Air Force career:
Why the Japanese didn't bomb Oklahoma in WWII -another classic comedy team, Bob Hope, Dean Martin, George Gobel

Nowdays all you get is a bunch of posers trying to turn their 15 minutes of fame into a political message.
