Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Carl
So quit responding then, because just like the "gopher hunter" does to the D-ALPA guys each time, I'll show you the "holes in your position", or the "err of your ways", as Carl would probably put it.
Fairly definitive opinion. Have you polled the 44000 pilots submitting DPA cards?
Wrong. A persons opinion doesn't equate to the "reality" of the situation. It may be a "perspective on what that particular person believes to be true", but is never the "REALITY". (Have you ever heard the saying there is always three sides to the story? His side, her side, and the truth!)
Who's = who is
Whose = whose
Just like I cannot (or can't) help you with your grammar Mr. 777 pilot? Grow up and leave the personal jabs at home. That's why DAL88 isn't posting anymore.
Then volunteer. Show the group that your motives can be "pure" instead of "self-serving" like the others you claim. Quit your b!tching, and join the cause instead of sitting in the stands and throwing peanuts.

That's old info
Delta flight 1243 is pulled from GDS after June 7, 2012. (it's the same flight number 1243 for both legs)
go ahead try to book it on Delta.com...
FWIW Virgin America service begins April 4, 2012
Cheers
George
P.S. AFAIK the flight was offered up as an example to show how Delta is adding new flights to LAX, I know you know better, Buzz ;-)

Again, I don't eat crow for statements that aren't mine. The council 20 chairman has made this statement, and nobody from the MEC has written anything to refute it. I'd love to see the opener. I've always seen the opener in every single Section 6. But the only thing I've seen in writing from a member of the MEC says that we will not.

As I stated above, and to obey 80's wishes, I'm done arguing with you about this subject.
The DPA drive DOES NOT garner unity within our group. No matter what you and/or Scambo say, having 4400 pilots express their "lack of support" with our bargaining agent, in a time when we all need to be behind one common goal, is a danger path to go down.
Oh, and I just read the Chairman's Letter again. (It's dated October 17, 2011.) I believe you're wrong and we will see the opener, AFTER they have been shared with the company. The letter doesn't say anything about "never" seeing the opener. You're making that assumption, and skewing it as fact because of your interpretation of the Chairman's Letter.

T,
Again, Carl's position on this board, or the DPA thread, is a "win/win" situation. Just like the "Coward-In-Chief's" position we have in the White House. (I'd rather not get into the voting of 747 pilots at NWA to keep their pensions so that the junior guys could hit the street twice, but lets just say that he's not in it for the entire group.) What'd you and your group give up Carl? Some crew meals?

After ten pages of the DPA/DALPA back and forth, it starts to sound like this:

That's some funny stuff. I think Carl is the one that is doing all the talking with really nothing to say!!

Facts don't matter to folks lilke Gearjerk. Their template states that senior people vote in ways to harm junior people, and never give up or do anything for junior people. Anything that proves the template wrong is assailed.
It's great that tsquare seems to have found a new friend though.
