I am a Compass FO flying a mainline jet for regional wages and I have had it. I will be here for this discussion and fully support Delta and Compass pilot's fight to stop the erosion of scope and the betterment of our profession. We need to get rid of this B-scale nonsense. Mainline jobs need to be protected.

That statement could not be more wrong. The continual whipsawing of the regionals against each other will keep their wages forever low. When the RJ folks make more $$$ so will the Delta pilots.

Well, I might get flamed for this but I really hope and am counting on you Northwest guys to help bring a new and rather intense fire to the group that will shake our union up for the better. You guys don't have any loyalty to F-DALPA and thats a good thing, a little rebellion now and then is a good thing.
I'd love to see Carl and Moak chat.
What about becoming Teamsters? Just like the RAH guys? We can get a magazine about trucking instead of about ALPA, it might give us something interesting to read in the bathroom.

This is another urban legend. Lee has never said that ever and it is 100% opposite of his feelings. I can't believe anyone would even believe this for a second. There is no way that keeping regional pay low helps Delta pilots in any fashion. People go and repeat these things as if a fact when they have never talked to Lee ever in their lives.

So yes you might get flamed because the premise of your argument is fatally flawed.

I've posted on this thread before, but just want to again lend some support to what the other CPZ guys have said.
I would be in favor of a staple even if it meant a furlough. It would likely be beneficial to our individual careers and, more importantly recapture and protect some of the scope erosion that is hurting the careers of ALL airline pilots.
I am also in favor of maintaining the current representational structure under the Delta MEC. It's probably not the ideal arrangement, but it provides significantly more resources to our very small pilot group. It also keeps our pilot groups aligned and working towards a collective good.
