Halftime show was boring as crap. Madonna when she actually was singing had a very heavily processed voice- and she looked like she was about to fall asleep. Definitely acted every bit of 60 years old or however old she is.

Great football game! I didn't really care who won, but one of the guys at the party is a HUGE giants fan so it was great fun watching him. All I wanted was a nice close ballgame and I came out happy.

All in all- it's a ball game after all and we got a good one, so who cares about the junky commercials and horrible halftime show. That's what it's all about- supposedly.
What game? My wife got two Beagles yesterday, and then the oldest came down with the flu. Lets see how quickly it goes through the house.......

Did no one else find the winning touchdown last night completely un-sportsmanish?

It's all about strategy and statistics. No less unsportsmanlike than taking a knee 3 times in a row to run down the clock and then bringing in the 150 lb kicker to win it all (and then said kicker gets carried around as the hero).

The commercial where Clamp loses weight to get out the doggy door was pretty good, until it changed into a VW commercial.

Walt worked at Ford for 50 years and they're selling German cars...

In what way? I am almost surprised that one of his own linemen didn't tackle him. But I guess if you want to make that argument, it could be viewed as "unsportsmanish" for the Pats to have laid down and let him score...

Madonna took a knee a lot more than that over the last 30 years to perform at halftime.

Taking a knee is a tactic to run the clock and is considered part of the game. What he did yesterday was to deliberately stop short of the endzone while the play was active and as yet undetermined. To me, that's showboating, worse than say jumping in or diving into the endzone where you at least keep your momentum going toward the conclusion of a TD. It just struck me as class-less. But hey, apparently, it's just me. (Stepping down from the soap box)

Rumors still floating around that there will be a contract extension (maybe 2 years), combined with an early out program for pilots that might include some medical benefits......discuss.

That's not what happened. He was told NOT to score. They didn't want to score a touchdown with time on the clock so as to not give the ball back to Brady.

They wanted to run the clock down to a few seconds and kick the easy FG for the win and be done with it. The guy tried to stop short, but his momentum carried him in.
