Parker is "very happy" with these numbers which beat street estimates of 13 cents a share:

Forward looking Q&A should be interesting since we should start seeing some positive movement here in a little under 12 months. Also, I'll be looking for their prognostications on SkyTeam as it relates to our AF-KLM allocations in the joint venture. That has got to start turning if the Company has any intent of being in compliance with the spirit of our PWA.

We need a positive bid!

I think peak at $13 and settles at $11. But I'm pulling that out of thin air but that's how NCAA brackets are won so I'm fine with that.

I bet it goes up 5-7% today. I think the longer term outlook is >$13, around $16.

I actually feel a little bad for the guys. They have to fly CRJ-200's into airports that were meant for Beech 1900's and Dash-8's.

I think you found the solution. 8 passengers and 3 crew and small runway I take it? That sounds more like a Navajo would've been fine for the route. Or Dash 8-100s. Bring em' back.

The incentive is that you can bet that "Airlines for America" (formerly the ATA) is going to put a full-court-press tsumani-like campaign against the FAA to go back to "legal to start, legal to finish" versus the hard 9-hour rule. Whether that will be implemented, or the current "hard" 9 hour rule remains the law of the land will make a huge difference in how management staffs and schedules pilots.

I for one would be in favor of a two-year "bridge"-style extension (with proper incentives and positive changes to the contract of course) within the template of the current FARs, to expire right about the time the new FARs take effect. I think that might actually be more effective for us in the long run.
