Great picture though. Love the Eastern A300. Would love to see a mainline widebody at LGA again in my lifetime.
Working for DL you can not only see one, but you can fly it in there. I've done it!

The 767-300 is a tight squeeze on those taxiways.

Ask for a coupon at the hotel bell desk - free drink with dinner.

BTW, Brees is a maniac but since MSY has already won a super bowl, I'd like someone to shut them down. They're fans are annoying and I don't even have a dog in any fight in the NFL, I gave up on my team over a decade and a half ago and have been homeless ever since. I just cheer for Auburn folks or however I feel at the moment. It's nice. I already have one team I'm married to come hell or high water so it's nice just to enjoy NFL football without a care.
The 49ers will shut him down at the Stick next Saturday

That is an awesome picture though! Thanks for that 80K!

What ever happened to Empire? I had a couple buds working there in 1983-4, they both ended up at American, but I forgot where Empire went. Did someone buy them or...?

Seek, and ye shall find.

Empire Airlines was a regional airline serving the Northeastern United States beginning in 1976. In 1985, the airline was purchased by Piedmont Airlines, which itself was later purchased by USAir and whose name now lives on in the US Airways Express network.

Bought by piedmont in 85, folded into USAir eventually, according to wiki

Ahh...it's all coming back now!

Thanks, I'll get another cup of coffee and maybe I'll wake up!

I assume that red jet way over on the right side of the pict. is a NY Air jet?

Call Sign "Apple" as I recall.

Guys,

Anyone noticing picture posts are being pulled? CNI posted a couple yesterday and I challenge you to find them.

If we're going back to the bad old days, just say so and we'll just keep everything PG-13.
