The answer to your 2nd question, no. Since you have training your days available in the bid period are less, therefore your required reserve days are pro-rated. There is a table in the bid packet. I have training starting the 1/15, I had to work 8 reserve days.

Just subtract your amount of training days in Feb from the amount of days in the bid period, and then find that number on the table in the bid packet. It will tell you how many reserve days you must work.
Thanks for your help!

Exactly. Some of my lefty friends accuse me of being "heartless" for wanting to chop all entitlement programs.

I tell them the federal gub'ment is not constitutionally endowed with the mission of redistributing wealth. We Americans are a generous lot. Left to our own devices, we will select charities which far outperform the gub'ment's horrific administration of tax dollars to the less fortunate.

On the other hand, many of the MSP guys may just bump over to the MD-90 category that will be growing throughout the year per the latest Crew Planning update on Deltanet. Don't worry though, we'll be hiring soon (in 2017)
That's where I'm headed, 7ER in NYC. Will be in the lower 90% so was just wondering out loud if I'll get pushed out of there onto the 88 in NY.

This from SD's latest memo:

"On the November AE, we added 25 MD-88 Captains and 32 MD-88 First Officers system wide. Although there may appear to be a surplus now, get ready because the Mad Dog’s hours are scheduled to be flat year-over-year for January and then increase by 7% in February, 9% in March and 10% in April. The remainder of the year will see double digit year-over-year growth, with 20+% growth currently scheduled for the months of the fourth quarter. This is primarily driven by the increase in the number of MD90’s. This month we have 29 aircraft, which increases to 41 in June and 50 in December."

Good news because at the moment we are definitely overstaffed in the MD-88 in MSP, but these increases will fix that.

Buzz, Newk said that you should be proud of your Packers because never in NFL history has there been a team that could participate in full at a Gay Pride Parade like the Packers. Keep reaching for that rainbow you Packers.

Newk said it.

Unable. I like 0 raw scores carrying me over til the 24th of the month.

By the way more west coast 90 flying would be nice on ATL pairings. Just saying, DAY and PNS and STL and MCI gets dull.

I sit at the bar, stare at the tv and get order envy. The brunette bar tender is nice, remembers my kids ages even with months in between visits. If you eat there too much it does get old.
