I believe you are quoting the LOA signed with regards to the MD88 TLV?

If you look in the JCBA, section 1.B.40.e:

once the number of permitted 76-seat jets is established, it will not be reduced. Exception one: If a pilot on the seniority list with an employment date prior to September 1, 2001 is placed on furlough, the Company will convert all 76-seat jets for operation as 70-seat jets.
Exception two: In the event the flow provisions of NWA LOA 2006-10 and LOA 2006-14 cease to be available, either at the feeder carrier affiliate referenced in such LOAs or at another carrier, the number of jet aircraft configured with 71-76 passenger seats specified in Section 1 B. 40. d. will revert to 85.
Isn't this first part still in effect?

I can't for the life of me find LOA 20 (the MD88 TLV) on the pitiful ALPA website. However, I don't think it replaced the language above, just added to it. If anyone gets furloughed, 6 seats come out of 20 some airplanes (big deal). But if they furlough UJHAZY, 6 seats come out of all 76 seat airplanes. But you are saying this logic is incorrect?

Heyas,

If I recally correctly, there was part of the CPZ agreement with NWA that prohibited the sale of CPZ until there were 10 or more DC-9 replacements on the NWA property. Does anyone know if that survived in the JPWA?

Also, in another dark chapter of NWA relations, the company PROCESSED every letter of resignation that they received from furloughees. Some of the junior folks tried to get NWALPA to work something out with management, but some senior sh!ts refused to budge on it, taking the view "no one helped me out when I was furloughed, so deal with it".

Some people are going to be ****ed off their whole life, and there's nothing you can do about it.

No this comes from the 76 seat scope settlement.

Oh god Bar. I am sure it will be with a White Russian in hand!

If the furloughs get to you, I will be concerned. At that time, I will fill out my app for Fry Cook at McDonald's
