Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
also watch out for airport layover hotel in ewr! stayed there last week, walked to corner beer store for some cheap beer and on my way back guy came out from behind building on bike after me. I went out in traffic against the flow to shake him. dont leave that hotel on foot!
Lagos' layover hotel is pretty nice, but while there, you are on lockdown. Armed escort to and from the airport - lots of machine guns. Next door, there is a convenience store. A captain went next door to buy some beer, he returned in his skivvies.
EWR needs to step up its game.

We had a Capt. in Joburg last week get jacked up at the Big Bank ATM across the street from the Hilton...in broad daylight. He went in alone, nobody around, but when he finished and turned around there were two guys with a knife looking at him...they only took his money...this time.
Come on NJ, where's your Street Cred?

At least you know what team he plays for:
From his bio.....
Prior to accepting his research position at MIT, Swelbar spent 25 years in the consulting world with a focus on airline labor cost restructuring, regulatory issues governing air transport, communication strategy and support, and air service development on behalf of airports and communities.
Hey,
Slow and Alfa, if your gig at DALPA evaporates, maybe he can fit you guys in over at his head shed.

Well, keep working on it I guess.
I don't believe any bad names were used???? Just some observations.
Anyway, I'm just trying to help you out with a plan B.
Everyone that was furloughed had to have one. Always a good idea to have a back up as you never know what is around the corner.
A bad medical perhaps, or of course the garden variety furlough, merger, a wholesale MEC administration change, or even a new group representing Delta pilots.
I thought hooking up with Swellbar is a swell idea.....
Wait! Has anyone here ever seen Swellbar and either one of you two at the same time at the same place???? Hmmmm.

There's a place for trolls like you. It's called FI.
You've built a nice history undercutting the profession then complaining about the results you helped create...yep, must be time to blame your fellow pilots rather than look in the mirror!

Ok, for all you smart guys..........
What is a "shadow bid" in PBS. It's after I'm done with training, but it doesn't go all the way to the end of the month. Can I bid a trip that goes into those supposedly days off at the end of the month?
I'm thinking just bidding a list of trips as normal and then have training take them away when I'm scheduled for OE (glad I'm not senior enough to take nice ones)? Also, I assume I'm on some sort of reserve until the end of the month after OE? Or is that the "wrong company".........only been 13 years since I did a school

By the way, I have a Plan B job, and you don't even want to know what they pay me.
