We used to get the free pizza in MOB with a Skyhawk. That was great. I called in an ERJ one day there and the offer wasn't extended to airlines.

I don't know if words could convey the horror of such a situation.

The youtube video showed that plane flying straight in level into the mountain and to think you're watching three children enjoying an airplane flight...

it's just heart breaking.

but to be honest, most all untimely deaths are whether they happen in our field or just every day life.

Then there are some you can celebrate, like John Couey's from Florida. I sure hope they gave him placebo's for his pain medication. I know vengeance is the Lord's, but I sure as heck would've hurried up that meeting.

Oh and to make this relevant to Delta, damn glad to be here and working with you keyboard warriors.

I understand that the pilot was her x and he worked for USAir. Sad indeed.

Reminds me of "Carmageddon" this past summer in LA when they closed the 405 for construction and everybody freaked out and stayed home. Best day to drive in LA EVER.

No Kidding, I got to work 2 hours early...after I took the scenic route through downtown.

Cheers

My first thought was: Awesome!

Then my second thought was: Chiquita Bananas or Chiquita Airline?!?

Every weekend should be Carmageddon. A close second is when all the illegals protest immigration policies and stay home from work and school. You can zip around pretty good on those days too. Other than that, LA traffic absolutely blows. I got called for a GS last month and the scheduler asked me if I could be at SNA in 45 minutes....."uh, no. 2 hours at a minimum."

Scheduler: "So you're saying you're not in a position to report?"

Me: "No, I'm saying that its Friday night in Southern California. It will take me at least two hours...."

Scheduler: "Never mind."
