Brocc, somehow AMR files chapter 11 and Delta who shows profits regularly now is going chapter 11 to put one over on creditors to get better interest rates and then having mass furloughs of 1000 pilots on the verge of mass retirements.

This is called a thread run amuck.

I wouldn't worry about it honestly until you see Slowplay or PG mention it.

But should a buddy of mine that knows this guy who has a cousin that has 4 plus years at DAL go to UPS if called from the pool at 33k first year, bad labor relations and a real penchant for outsourcing just to make 149k second year? Add to that an ANC commute and starting over again. I know this guys wife pretty well and she is a damn good divorce attorney in real life and has already had it with the airlines, and from what I hear wants to work less and is not too found of making another life change that will chase pie in the sky to see it change yet again and delay her chance to stay at home with the kids......

Just wonderin.....

Oh no, Fed going to FedEx is wise and I think many kick themselves for not going there. I had a CA friend from church there ask if I wanted to apply because he'd take my stuff, said no... in 2004. Whoops. But I wanted out of the industry at that time.

But it's not about that, it's about whether Bar would find happiness there if sitting on the 10 or 310.
