I'm not wrong, and the numbers were on. When fleet and block hours trend one direction, pilot staffing trends the same direction.

There were efforts made by ALPA and the Company to mitigate these effects that took them off the top instead of the bottom. I'm grateful.

How has your relative seniority changed? Have you moved up, or down, the pay scale as a result of equipment changes?

Pin action in Atlanta is going to be ugly. Since the 737 seems to be the extraction point for Boeing refugees, I expect it will go even more senior.

An unpopular base?

You arent a politician, are you. When I was based up there, I really enjoyed it. Problem is, where I live, you cant get there from here anymore (well I could commute to newark, eff that) and I'm not 2 hop commuting anywhere. I am glad NYC er is growing, they have been shrinking lately. Maybe your and acl's interpretation of the new jv language was correct, I sure hope so.

I just get tired of the constant dark cloud/UNITY preaching. Sorry.

I've voluntarily moved "down" the payscale, but am making more money and getting better days off as a result. Relatively system wide I've moved up almost 3% since the integration. Thanks to longevity increases and the JCBA, I'm making considerably more money since my involuntary displacement (where I could have reinstated right after training on the 737). I'm tickled silly over my move to the 320, though.

They have. ALPA National has always fought on the side of the Delta pilots to bargain our scope exclusively. What we have done with that power has been up to us.

What is that? I've changed my interpretation of it a couple of times and finally received confirmation that George's posts were in fact, correct. We are in a measurement period that is not actionable as a grievance until Spring 2014. However, the smart folks are thinking the result will be roughly 8 additional wide body cities coming our way (if a snap shot were taken today). Calculating the EASK numbers is like calculating DCI ASM's. Somebody is working on independent numbers (who has more time than I do) and those will be posted in graphical form.

ALPA's response will be that those numbers don't matter and they are right. We can't grieve it. Absent the Company's good faith, there is nothing we can really do to force compliance prior to 2015.

My guess is that we'll see the JV modified ten ways to Sunday before 2015 and we have to trust the guys we've got to not let the Company slip on compliance between now and then.
