Interesting. Everyone I've flown with has done theirs......or lied about it.

Would be interesting to see participation by base.

Yep. I've only flown with one guy who hadn't done it and he said he would. There are a lot of guys who feel disenfranchised or resigned that nothing good can or will happen in spite of their best efforts. I think the farther you get from ATL the more that's the case, unfortunately.

If you want to make 12 year min res 70 hours of 88 pay equal 12 years min res pay of 78 hours at SWA then you're looking at 48% increase.

I will say this, if this pilot group signs off on 30% over 5 years pay, which is highly possible under the guise better to be done at ammendable date with a achieveable contract and use next contract to get back to pay levels of 20 years prior with no interest... then I'm selling my house.

Because if your spouse doesn't work and your supporting the family then I think $150k is all you can afford on a house under Delta FO pay. Sure you can fly over 70 buy shouldn't the wise pilot only plan on 70?

I've already downsized mine. Granted, I bought my earlier home on non-Delta income but to make ends meet in CA, 70 hour guarantees at the current pay for an 11-year guy is damn near impossible. I don't know how more junior folks do it.

Dynamic List anyone?

But, as I've said before.....I'll believe Alaska when I see it. They are way to expensive and the bidding war will be ugly. But, I was also the guy who would have wagered his house that it was NWA and Continental
Who is gonna bid against us for Alaska?
AMR? no
SWA? doubtful
United? no
Us Air? no
Jet Blue? no
Delta might want a contract by the amendable date to go after someone else since most everybody is too busy to try it. We'll see.
P.S. It would be REALLY expensive for us to go after Alaska!
