Just to tag onto the CQ training discussion, the 1-day training that you get 6 months after your proficiency check is a non-jeopardy event. It even says that in black and white in the syllabus.

Anyone who has been around this business for any length of time knows all events are jeopardy.

Narobi, Monrovia Cancelled
ATLANTA (AP) -- Delta Air Lines Inc., the world's largest airline operator, is postponing its plans to launch flights from the U.S. to Kenya and Liberia because the Transportation Security Administration needs more time to approve the carrier's request.
The airline, which announced in November 2008 its plans to fly from Atlanta to Nairobi, via Dakar, Senegal, and Atlanta to Monrovia, via Sal Island, Cape Verde, said Tuesday that it was working on re-accommodating affected passengers on partner airlines that offer connecting service to those destinations.
Atlanta-based Delta had said the new service to Kenya would have been effective Tuesday and the new service to Liberia would have been effective June 8.
The airline has been cutting domestic capacity because of weak demand and plans to cut international capacity beginning in September

It's going to be a looooong Dakar layover for the guys that bid the Monrovia trip--
Sounds like a last-minute hose job by the good ol' Dept. of Homeland Security.

Okay, it is freaking me out how this thread has gone silent. Isn't Delta going to buy A-380's? Aren't we going to merge with China Southern? Aren't there any good rumors?
