No I didn't go with the turbo model since I wont be keeping a 4 cylinder longterm, I just found a great price on one and picked it up as the platform to build on. I bought it stock, you'll see in that pic though I've done a couple minor mods already to the outside to better suit me, limo tint to match the top, painted the calipers and (not shown) since replaced the stock antenna to an Opel antenna which is shorter and looks 100X better.
Itll be a while I'm still tinkering with the GTO so the solstice is more for running around and will double as an extra car for now. The weather is just getting right here in Texas for dropping the top too . I don't know if a v10 will fit cause the SC ls9 is a tight squeeze as is. Plus you have to worry about the tranny length etc. Almost all the conversions use an L model V8 and t56 6 speed manual which is perfect. Honestly I don't want a supercharger, I prefer to keep it normally aspirated like I did with my GTO. Traction is an issue if you get too crazy with the hp lol. so a stroked ls2/3 would be all I'd want in this, which would be more than enough in this size car. I've got almost 500 to the wheels in my GTO and that's with a stroked Ls2 and that kind of power in any street car is enough to get the adrenaline pumping
Lol, that's just an excerpt, AirFranceKLM traffic and capacity is up everywhere except for a small dip in capacity in Africa mostly due to the Egypt uprisings.
here are the numbers:
Americas: RPM +12.2% ASM +10.8%
Asia: RPM +9.7% ASM +9.4%
Africa: RPM +2.9% ASM -1.3%
Caribbean: RPM +6.4% ASM +4.7%
Europe: RPM +9.5% ASM +7.4%
Cheers

P.S. The silver lining is we should see an increase in our Bundle 1 flying for next Summer because of the rolling average ESKMs.

That subtle hood scoop and the Cobra nose backed by a 5.7 is so hot you wonder why Pontiac did not do that? Probably some nerd thought it would steal Corvette sales, or was unsafe at any speed.
Any reports on how it handles?
Sir, you have exquisite taste in toys. Just superb. (insert applause)

When it comes to silly bodies on VW Chassis, why not go Brazilian? Better lines, even if it still takes longer to get to 50 than the DPA.

These are Like a new age cobra but there's no 5.7 conversions, it's all LS2=6.0/LS3=6.2/LS7=7.0 motors these days. The LS1 was the last 5.7 motor back in 2004. Lots of videos on YouTube of them, search V8 solstice or solbra etc. I figured you'd like these
