I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm on "the list."

(I knew I shouldn't have argued that DC-9 pilots should be exempt from the yellow fever vaccine requirement.)

Maybe the CEO doesn't know anyone to contact at UHC? TIC

Stephanie Abrams, I had to look it up. You're talking about a Weather Channel girl right?

My wife interviewed at the weather channel for a job a few years back. At the time the building was incognito. They evidently had so many problems with crazies coming after the weather channel girls that they hid the fact it was where 285 and I75 come together and there was pretty good security.

Which reminds me, years ago on one of the Cheers episodes Cliff Claven fell in love with one of the girls on the weather channel. So he wrote her a letter expressing his love. She wrote him back, shocking everyone, and he all excited read it out loud at the bar. A sentence or two in she writes "judging from your handwriting I can tell you must be at least 8 years old!"

There are plenty of RJ pilots who want to fly for us. Delta would rather have pilots with less longevity to fly these planes, it's cheaper per hour. If everyone flying is at the top of the scale longevity wise (all 12th year), then that is expensive. A 3rd year FO on the 767 costs less than a 12th year guy. Everyone has to pass the sims and IOE, so you can't pull that card. It is cheaper to have newer Delta people on our mainline equipment, and then you and I get to be their captains. Give the geezers help and return "normal" upgrade times to the industry. 9-11, BK, and age 65 have killed the usual progression of this so called career.

That's a pretty good one Nosmo.

I thought about "burning ring of fire" but decided we can save that for "songs dedicated to Moscow and GRU overnights"

This is easy. Been thinking this song would be perfect if it had some name other than Maggie's describing the "Farm."
