Carl,

Everyone at the Q&A was disgusted. I think the DPA signed up an extra 100 that day alone.

If they stated their views publicly, then you're not really outing them by identifying them, are you?

This sounds eerily familiar. We're only supposed to get a 3% raise and we used to be the highest paid and home of the pension. No expectations and lots to celebrate as everyone strives to be what you just did. Anything better than that and it will be a fantastic year.

Bill, Why would you be outing them? If this is their position then its their position and they should be happy to defend it. So at the meeting these reps stated that we could not expect or achieve SWA wages. Whats the big deal in telling us who they are? It was a public meeting correct?

I already wrote them, so in essence outing them would "out" me. I don't know if they know you personally. When will you guys learn? This is an anonymous board, and I want to keep it that way. Make sense? Instead of prodding me, how about you call your own reps and make sure they want what most of us want, for them to not manage our expectations, and to go for what we deserve, SWA/Airtran plus.

Delta traded 6 737-700s to SouthWest in exchange for September 31st.

Now SWA pilots won't make more than Delta pilots for the month of September.

Be careful with that. At my old airline we had a pilot who was sued for pushing a wheelchair. Pilots are not trained to push wheelchairs.

Crazy, but true story.

I used to push wheelchairs for an airline as a summer job. It's very easy, but I had to do a bunch of required computer training to get "qualified.". I agree with your statement.

The day when we can't push wheel chairs, help with bags and assist elderly people will be a sad day. What does that say about our ultra-sensitive society? Not much.
