Well, if ACL says "Aloha", can a HNL base be too far behind?

Can anyone answer a few questions about your Authorized Paid Drop?
1. I know it is one per year, does it reset by calender year or hire year?
2. Do they have to have reserve coverage for you to be able to drop it?

Thanks!

I believe its an Authorized Personal Drop - not a paid drop. Still no pay.

Somone correct me if I'm wrong here: There are two types of drops; Personal Drops (PD's,) and APD's. You can get a PD anytime reserve coverage is above min coverage as listed in DBMS (blue days.) An APD is the "big gun" and only requires that coverage be 25% of the min listed in DBMS. I believe it resets on hire date, and there are some restrictions on holidays as listed in the JCBA.

On a different note, does anybody know when the "crossfleeting" of the narrowbodies is rumored to begin? I thought is was comming this summer, but is that perhaps being put off to post-SOC?

It is APD. Authorized PERSONAL Drop. Not paid. It is up to four days once per year.
You will not get paid for whatever you drop.

You are correct. There are PD and APD's. APD, is the big gun.

I would love for them to buy Hawaiian. RA said it was the only one that made sense.
That said. RAH just bought a caravan operator over in HI. I know the guy running the op, and it sounds like they got a lot of big plans for those large RJ's.
Lots of different balls in the air. Jets will not be on the SA ticket so as to not conflict with UAUA, and DAL scope limitations.

ACL I am sure you know this but for others -

If the 4 days of APD touches any trip, the entire trip gets dropped. In other words lets say you have a 4 day, 2 days off, then another 4 day. APD the middle 4 days and two 4 day trips are gone. A big hit in pay, but great if you just need to take a long vacation somewhere!!

Thanks, I had called the CPSC because ecrew wasn't taking my request and the guy asked me if I wanted personal drop or paid drop. He was the one who said we get one paid drop per year, but he didn't know if it reset calender year or hire year. That was the first I had heard about a paid drop. I guess it was wrong.
