Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I've heard the same thing. Word from an IT guy very high up in the IT food chain that DAL was so far behind NWA in IT capabilities there is a massive gulf between the two. Also said inertia at DAL is strong. "They just don't move as fast down there." I think former NWA will be taking steps backwards when DAL isn't willing to be dragged into current IT technology and methodology.
It really makes it hard to flirt when they're whinning so much......but I get my one line'rz in

We're not. Just some alarmist thinking...and some gate agents with too much time on their hands. Its sort of like asking the FA's how the landing was...Come on down boys, the weather (and the IT) is fine.

At this point does it really matter which one is behind...have to move forward and fix the things that need fixing.... there is lot to do and its going to cost a lot of bucks. Acess and Pentry are not important, its the things that run the airline and make it profitable that will need work; as we all know...no one likes to get out of their confort zone.
