With this new JV for MTO with AeroMexico I wonder if their contract is good at protecting outsourcing. Seems to me it opens the door to move a lot of maintenance down to Mexico. Cheaper than the US, and not as far to go as China. Did the maintenance guys vote in a union or go independent?

If Delta opens with a concessionary offer, I'm going to treat this job as a stepping stone to UPS, Fedex, or Southwest. There is no reason why ANYONE cannot expect us to get some sort of raise after everything we've been through.

And yet some people are under the dellusional opinon that if we don't grieve something instantly, we forever give the right to ever grieve it (scope). If that logic were true, the police in the ATL metro area would never be able to enforce a single speeding ticket ever, because they don't ticket 99.9% of them 99.9% of the time.
