Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

I'm in trouble......I crunch them all.
I wonder if it will be sort of like the -300? It's heavier so it lands faster and flatter (also redesigned tail for the tail strike threat).
I'm looking forward to it actually.....always up for something new (insert lude comment here_________________) heheheheheheh<--dirty old man laugh

I really enjoyed the 767 as far as the takeoff roll was concerned and with those inboard ailerons it was primed and ready for some neck snapping. If you overshoot something just remember to let it go man, let it go. Noise abatement is just a suggestion.
When it comes to landing, the key and it works every time to make landing the 767 as great as the 757 is to fly it down to

Went to the Atlanta picnic. NWA FA's loved it. Gin Blossoms got delivered in their Delta Air Elite Canadair 604 which drove straight from the GA ramp to the parking lot. They took a look at the rain and beat feet just as it cleared up, so no concert.
It is a nice event the Company puts on.

So we went across town to the Greek Festival, enjoyed lunch without rampers breaking and shoving into every line, where the music played, the dancers danced and the food and wine were O-PA!
The rampers really put a downer on what would have been a nice day out with Delta folks. I don't know who all gets invited to these things... . The ASA folks were fine, but all the line breaking, fowl language and getting pushed by the OBama Change T-Shirt crowd gets old fast.
It is a nice event the Company puts on. Why some folks get invited (or hired) when they clearly don't know how to act is beyond me. We'll never go back to another of these, although the event is first class and appreciated for the kind gesture it is.

They always seem to spend a lot of money on the event. Too bad it was rained out.

Nice gesture...guess I would rather it happen when we're making a profit; have the money to spend on the event.

They started this in 2007 after we exited bankruptcy. I believe the plan to keep the tradition alive.

Ice - most of it appeared to have been paid for with sponsorship money from our vendors. (Wonder why SkyWest and Republic did not buy tents, since we spend more money with them than with just about anyone else)
The F-NWA employees who were there really liked it and were amazed Delta did this for their employees. Certainly it is a morale booster. If this helps with the AFA and Machinist's votes it was probably worth it.
The Delta Heritage Museum also put in some extra hours trying to get the Delta museum inclusive of NWA's proud heritage. I'm sure those displays will grow. Now we need some F_NWA metal in the hangars. Heck, lets put a 747 on the ramp! If it were up to me, we would have one of everything the Companies ever flew.

When you reference the AFA votes, what sort of help would that be? Thought the machinists had already been decided.
Sponsorship money is good!

I used the word "helps" from the perspective of management, who threw the party.
