Super - do you get the normal DC9 program or a short course? We get 3 sims and a check ride, which is going to be fun after being displaced twice and having time on the 767, 757, 737, than back to the DC9-Stuper 88. I was going to bid the DC9 in my next displacement just to avoid the four day training deal.
Bar,

We get the short course for the DC9 because we have flown the DC9 in the last 12 months. 5 days total, & I think it's 2 or 3 sims. The good thing about the short requal is that it doesn't require a full systems test. The medium does. I can deal with a few less sims if I can bypass some systems studying.

I'm in trouble......I crunch them all.

I wonder if it will be sort of like the -300? It's heavier so it lands faster and flatter (also redesigned tail for the tail strike threat).

I'm looking forward to it actually.....always up for something new (insert lude comment here_________________) heheheheheheh<--dirty old man laugh

I'm getting the short course. Pretty much the same thing you're doing. I have more time on the airbus than i do the -9 so the short course should be fun. At least the airplanes are similar

So true. The trick is when you get to the point where you would pull the power to idle on a 75, on a 76 keep the power in. Wait til the mains are just touching the runway, then pull the power.

Just remember when you level off, you have to move the thrust levers. It did not go into alpha floor.
