Hey tsquare, my wife & I are Nebraska fans, she went to school there, remember 1997? I felt sorry for Peyton that day!
Nebraska is embarking on a journey into the Big 10 Conference this year after leaving the Big 12 because the U of Texas got the majority of the proceeds from that conference.
This year the Huskers play Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin...it'll be a fun year of college football.

And I think coach D said that 80 or 90% of our team is freshmen and sophomores. This year might not be so good, but I feel great about next year..

I think they did not use reduced/FLEX thrust.
FO Polehinke is attributed as saying something about FLEX in the CVR at the gate:

The CVR transcript is here:

FO Polehinke is attributed as saying something about FLEX in the CVR at the gate:
Polehinke: (5:56:34) Right seat flex takeoff procedures off of um ... he said what runway? One of 'em. Two four.
But according to the NTSB "Group Chairman's Factual Report"www.courier-journal.com/assets/B257636117.PDF ref page 19
"The Operations Group determined that at the accident conditions of an aircraft weight of 49,087 lbs., a temperature of 24° C and a departure from runway 22 at LEX, the Thrust Setting chart indicated that a Reduced “Flex” Thrust takeoff was not available. The FDR indicated that the accident flight performed a full power takeoff."

I will say I meant more after the 04 debacle by it turns out it should've been OU vs AUB all along.

Another analyst today recommends buying Delta:
"In a similar vein, I recently said the management team at Delta Airlines (NYSE: DAL) was doing well by sharply cutting expenses in this era of economic uncertainty, holding off on any major investments to focus on continued free cash flow generation. The airline industry is a notoriusly bad place to be when the economy slows, which is why shares are falling sharply. But Delta's management team is rewriting this history with a much wiser approach to cash management. Might the airline industry weaken in 2012? Sure, but Delta's weaker rivals are likely to feel much greater pain, cutting back in places that allow Delta to seize the advantage."

KCM starting a new test phase for pilots in several cities. Should only be another 10 years before we're fully up and running.

TCU is now a force to be reckoned with! We have a friend who went there and he wears purple almost every day.
My favorite game was Boise State vs. Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl...that was exciting. Then one of the Boise players proposed to his girlfriend on national TV after the stunning win.

Even at my previous carrier which is merging with the big airline in TX, has a 4:00 min/day. This 3-day crap worth 10:30 has to stop.
The fine print would be striking a balance between decent layover, and min rest, so that the lines aren't looking like SWA, but still manages to have some rest.

I think it is called "Calender Day." Every calender day you get 5:15. USAir has that.
