Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I, on the other hand, am a big proponent of at least the 737 matching the clown car brigades pay scales with the rest of the scales ratioed up.
Why the 88 you ask? It's because our 88s do the same type of flying as the clown cars.
To all of my L&G Bubbas. I apologize for venting so strongly here during the last couple of days. I am sure it is clear to all where I stand on the issues as they relate to ALPA. For me and maybe others, this SWA AT merger was to be a defining moment for my final position on ALPA. I honestly did not want it to go the way that it did and hoped ALPA would do something to help in the fairness department for AT. I have in the past had the same hopes for us in regard to scope.
My opinions and conclusions are mine and I am not trying to sway anyone. I am just a guy speaking my mind in as truthful a way as I can. If it got too inflammatory I'm sorry. Noone told me to write this, I just didnt want to be a downer on the thread.

This is now the second time I have heard this 15% figure, and from 2 different LECs. If this truly is the case, I will campaign very hard for a DPA win.
Just talked to a SWA Captain.
July. 86 hours of flying. No "silly business". No vacation. Just straight flight pay - $25,000. 1 month.
No 401K included, nothing but straight flight pay.
Continue on.

True DPA has over half the amount they need?
Like a snow ball rolling down hill.
1. TWA judgement
2. AT/Alpa breakdown
3. failed opener
4. Continued Dalpa intransigence on resolutions
Any combination of one or more of the above results in an avalanche of cards.

Ok, Call me a bit confused. You have a SLI proposal written by SW management that has not yet been approved by the AT MEC or the pilots who have to try and defend themselves with scope section written by the current DPA attorney and somehow ALPA has failed the AT guys?
Looks like it was DPA's attorney that threw them under the bus, not ALPA. I think they owe $100 (but for an error this big it should be $100,000,000) to the DPCF.
