Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Give me a break. One of these days, perhaps, you guys will quit this juvenile behavior... or not.

B6, AS, or part of UsAir could work well for DAL. Problem with AS is they are freaking expensive!

PG, you have to admit, it did give you a laugh. I know I laughed at it. Heck, it is just plain funny.
I also believe a lot of our group just want ALPA to prove it with an awesome contract, that protects our jobs and futures. Like I have said, almost every pilot I fly with has slightly less distrust for ALPA as they do for our employer.
It may be a sad state of affairs, but it does not change reality.
You suggest recalling reps, but suggesting a recall of the chairman is juvenile? Fact is, as a lot of people see it Moak and his descendants, heirs and supporters are responsible for the DPA phenom. DPA is a bad idea. Changing your union leadership if it's not delivering what the pilots are asking for is not.
I for the life of me cannot see getting DOT or DOJ approval for B6. I can see us buying parts of a tie up with AMR, and parts of LCC. If they do go for it, we will go for their parts, and then for AS. HI's stock will get hit, and make them a even larger buyout target.

LCC is up for grabs and will probably be parted out. The PHL, and CLT hubs work best for AMR, and the LUV get the S-Curve benefit of PHX. I can see us getting some of the WB jets, and the B6 terminal in JFK if we see a three-way tie up.

Ok reserve gurus. Tomorrow is my seventh day in a stretch of 12 or so. Scheduling just called and put me into rest from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow night (all day the 27th). What exactly are my obligations? Do I have to check my schedule after 3 PM? Do I have to acknowledge anything prior to the end of my rest period? When is the earliest trip report of short call I can be assigned? Is it 0001 on the 28th or noon on the 28th?
Thanks.
Thanks.
As far as obligations, there is no obligation to answer the phone, check the computer or otherwise acknowledge CS DURING the rest. What they can assign depends on when they do it. If they wanted to assign something that starts immediately following your rest, they would have to put it on your schedule BEFORE your rest starts. With rest starting at midnight that is unlikely. Since your rest is midnight to midnight, everything is based on what they could do to you on your last day off before RES. Nothing can be assigned to you to start before 0500 after your rest. If anything is assigned after 1500 the day of your rest, it must not start before Noon. If you check your schedule after 1500 on the day of rest and nothing shows up, you know that you will have no obligations before Noon.
If my memory is incorrect WRT this, my apologies.
