Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I flew a trip with an LEC chair a while back. He had a thorough explanation and breakdown of labor costs and explained why asking for even 10% wasn't feasible. For me, this solidified my decision to send in my dpa card. Just my humble opinion, though.
Funny, but those guys with a vote today, that are currently in the left seat, will be gone. Not the positions, Duh!
Your new MEM Rep? Really? Must have been listening to bad data.

Now that is a interesting report. I like their conclusions. I will go further by stating that DAL needs Widebody jets, yesterday. If we do not take delivery of some WB metal in short order UCAL will have the upper hand that our management did not want them to get. We are paying off debt for a reason, and my position is to acquire a carrier that has WB's on order, as well as some route authorities we want.

Is it Hawaiian?
I had a chance to have a face to face with the comm chair recently. Needless to say, my worries about scope and what's due in this next contract have subsided substantially. I was very impressed.
Not as many comments on the slot swap as I would have thought!!

If 8DCA and 16LGA are the final government mandated SWA (and to a potentially much lesser extent JB) charity numbers than we must have spilled a lot of slop a the government trough to limit their future gift to only that amount. 4 hours after hearing the announcement, I'm sure Clark Howard will still have to call his doctor, but yay for us as it could have been far worse.
