Final early retirement total stands at 164 pilots with the possibility of adding 2 more guys. Early intel shows 30 747 Capts and 11 747 FOs but the actual list won't be out until later next week.

if American Airlines places an order with Boeing or Airbus, or both companies, pressure will be on rival carriers in the United States to follow with their own orders to blunt the advantage American Airlines would gain from flying more fuel-efficient planes.

Apparently CQ bidding won't start until next month, which stinks because I could go in September when I have vacation, & now I can't stop them from putting it right against vacation.
