Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
You guys, we could bash Joe all day long. It's fun to push his buttons but lets move on to more important things.
Carpet Dance
I know the captain isn't having a good night but could he/she see the wing tip from his vantage point?
I guess I'm curious if everyone on the center line and this was just bad luck....
Now as far as your RJ reduction program....does this count as a work action?

Might as well poke the hornet nest. Here we go:
Clearly a jet should not taxi into another jet that isn't moving. That's a given.
But --- this is 2 in a row now of Comair stretch RJs not pulling up far enough for their tails to clear the taxiway behind them. Has anyone told those boys the 76 seaters are longer? I'm just sayin...
The only planes in the fleet that you can see the wingtips from the cockpit in are the 737s and maybe the small airbi.
You're wound way too tight Joe.

Ergo, you'd be one of us who completely rejects the current scope situation and not one who constantly wants to defend career RJ guys?
You keep getting hung up on size Joe. People hate RJ's not because of just their size. They also hate them because of the poor service endemic among the poorly paid employees of regionals. It all adds up to a poor service experience to travel on an RJ. That's why people hate RJ's.

Anyone can screw up, at any time. You know there were some real doozies pulled by ASA pilots that never made any press, so you should really watch that glass house. And before you get fired up and demand proof, do we really want to go there, naming names? I was ASA from 95-01, and am still very good friends with many people there, in management, training, and on the line. I hear about things that happen. Just like I hear about things that happen at DL that never made the news, but left me scratching my head and wondering.
