Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Besides...
The F-111 could do that dump and burn thing, the EMB-120's APU did it too. You knew it was coming by watching the APU start and watching the EGT. Sometimes you warned the rampers, sometimes you let them run screaming. The poor Beech 1900D guys in Houston had no APU and horrific cooling. The EMB-120 had an APU so we could push the hot air around a lot like a 12" fan in a large attic in the middle of an Atlanta 105 degree summer day. You could do a 7 leg day worth 5 or 6 hours. AWESOMENESS.

You'll love this, fwiw, the noise is the gear warning horn. Yeah it won't shut up all the way to landing. Too bad it was working properly.
By the way, what is the latest and greatest on the RAH situation and DALPA's review?
Stock in the crapper. Hit 52 week low of 8.56.????
It was even pulled from the flight ops webpage? Why do that? That page pretty much shows the good and bad for us no matter what, I mean it's not like we're about to go insolvent?
Are we?
Are we?
"Republic Air Holdings (RAH) Scope Issue
This is obviously a contentious issue for a majority of our pilots. During the MEC meeting, we had a very detailed briefing from our DALPA legal staff that explained the current scope language and how holding companies, such as RAH, fit into that language. A vigorous debate took place both in Delegate Committee and in plenary session. We accept the fact that RAH, as it is currently structured, does not violate the scope language in the PWA as currently written."

I landed an AN-2 once with zero forward groundspeed.
The mighty BONE in contrast to the venerable TWEET:
Afterburner takeoff thrust uses 285,000 lb/hr fuel flow rate until MIL power at 360 KIAS. 17,000 lbs of gas used from engine start to initial level off. That's more than I use during an entire sortie in the A320.

In my home gym, I have that poster by Dru Blair of the B1 flying out of the mountains over the water with twin roostertails on the water. Its a fake, but still a cool poster.
